It is always good to enjoy great extent of freedom. Not only it saves me the crowded scenes of daily transportation, but also enables me to work in a flexible manner. But what is required is to be honest with the clock-in and clock-out system. I think the home-based working style suits me quite well like the quality of the research result matters much more than the time spent on the process (though it also counts). Taking the initiative to work towards standard or even the level of well done is more encouraging than working under pressure.
